Description

MISSION

To create and sustain  live customers based on project scope and the key metrics defined in the project charter, and to deliver the optimal expected customer outcomes.

  • People: Contribute to successful completion of internal projects such as lunch and learns, training updates, or other internal projects and initiatives
  • Projects: Prescriptively and efficiently consult to design, configure, and deliver expected value-based customer outcomes as defined on projects
  • Process: Contribute to the successful design, configuration and deployment of defined use cases based on the project scope and industry best practices to deliver customer outcomes as efficiently as possible
  • Product: Masters the Logility platform and stays current on how to best efficiently implement the platform to deliver customer outcomes

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s in business, Supply Chain or related field and 5+ years equivalent supply chain experience or client facing solution consulting.
  • Experience to include 5+ years working with supply chain planning processes and/or software ideally Logility but others also relevant.
  • APICS / IBF certifications preferred.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to travel up to 75%.

Strategic Consultant

The Strategic Consultant will be part of a multi-disciplinary team working on Supply Chain transformation strategy for American Software, considering changes in the work, the workforce, and the workplace as a result of implementing our digital supply chain platform. The Strategic Consultant will also assist ASI’s businesses with structuring and executing their individual organizational change management approaches. The Strategic Consultant will interact with senior leaders at customers and within the firm and will assist in various top priority change management projects with potential to significantly impact our organization.

KEY ACTIVITIES INCLUDE

  • Stakeholder analysis, leadership alignment, change readiness planning, communications planning and development, engagement activities, culture transformation, training strategy and development, and other areas of change management.
  • Developing and managing an end-to-end change management program that will enable the Supply Chain transformations.
  • Working hand in hand with Solution Architects and Technical Architects will ensure the business process to system match is geared for customer success.

CRITICAL CHARACTERISTICS

  • Attentive Listener: Listening is crucial. Not just to find out what customers need or what their problems and aspirations are, but also because clients want to be heard. They need someone to share their anxiety and doubts with.

  • Progress Manager: To effectuate actual changes, must also be involved in execution—as mentor and coach making sure progress is being made.
  • Stable Anchor: New strategy tends to lead to significant change, able to cope with uncertainty. This requires an (emotionally) stable anchor on which clients can rely.
  • Ethical Guide: Ethical guidance is important—not by preaching but by weaving ethics and sustainability intrinsically into the process.
  • Practical Educator: With their knowledge of supply chain strategy, adds value when they help their clients develop and improve their strategic supply chain competence. By working closely with the customer educating them, clients learn in a practical manner.
  • Partnership: Collaborates and works with our chosen partners to aid and advise on best practice implementation strategies that make our customers more successful

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or a similar area.
  • Certified Management Consultant (CMC) credential, preferred.
  • Project Management software – the application of project management software can be helpful for Strategy Consultants in areas of budget management and scheduling.
  • Marketing Analytics sools – to help them successfully analyze markets and market trends, it is crucial that Strategy Consultants understand the use of marketing analytics software.
  • Microsoft Office applications – the use of Word, PowerPoint and Outlook are essential to help Strategy Consultants communicate with and make presentations to managers, executives, and other corporate leaders.
  • Previous consulting experience in the area of Supply Chain Change Management and Business process reorganization is highly desired.
  • Up to 80% travel is required post-Covid.

EXPERIENCE

  • Outside education: BS or reasonable experience analogue required, Masters preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in related field
  • Experience in data modeling (multi dimensional and relational), structured query, ETL and reporting/data visualization.
  • Experience in technical aspects of planning software (forecasting, supply planning, capacity, detailed scheduling).
  • Oracle and/or SQL Server SQL expertise
  • Moderate batch file or power-shell maintenance/creation knowledge. Unix shell scripting experience will work if no windows experience is present.
  • Understanding and experience with industry leader ERP packages like Oracle EBS, SAP ERP and Infor M3 a plus.
  • Windows OS engineer medium capability required. Should know the basics of OS architecture, how to configure, and the implications of server settings/installed modules, and security postures (policies and individual permissions).
  • Able to deliver excellence in customer interactions and project artifacts (documentation, SQL/scripting deployment packages, project documents)
  • Understanding of data warehouse/BI systems a plus

Solution Architect

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • 5 years of hands-on experience in forecasting, inventory planning, manufacturing planning, replenishment planning, supply planning and/or transportation planning or as a consultant providing broadly based supply chain planning solutions for customers
  • 3 years of specific experience working with major supply chain applications as either a customer or consultant implementing supply chain solutions for customers. Relevant solutions consulting and implementation experience with other leading supply chain planning solutions such as Manugistics, i2, JDA, Oracle, SAP, Demantra or leading supply chain planning solutions will be considered (experience with Logility Voyager applications is highly desirable)
  • 3 years of experience successfully working in the role of Solution Architect
  • Strong business analysis skills and awareness of tactical planning on overall supply chain required
  • Relevant industry certification from APICS, IBF, INFORM will be a plus
  • Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or Business preferred.
  • Current or prior experience working in Management Consulting organization or Supply Chain Center or Excellence settings preferred
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Work, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Visio.
  • Ability to prepare and deliver presentations for user, management, and executive level audiences. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills required
  • This position requires a minimum of 50% travel.
