Connections 2011: Day 1

Connections 2011 SessionWe are just wrapping up a great first day here in Orlando. It is amazing to see so many customers in one place. Attendance was up nearly 40%. The level of interest highlights the importance of supply chain in the success of a company.

In speaking with many companies today I get a sense of optimism in the air with many looking at how technology can help them better manage their forecasts in such a dynamic economy. Luckily for them, many of our customer-led sessions tomorrow dive into that very challenge.

After an intense round of 10 training sessions we all were able to relax and network for a little while. We also held an auction with several fantastic products from our customers including a gift basket from American Italian Pasta Company, a Samsung Galaxy Tab from Verizon Wireless, a luxurious basket from Shiseido, apparel from Columbia Sportswear, Fender and Williamson-Dickie,  and much more. Congratulations to all the winners!
