Shipment Management
Once shipping plans are created, Voyager Transportation Planning and Management ensures that shipments are automatically tendered, shipped and tracked to point of delivery. The solution also provides timely, multi-dimensional views of distribution operations and service providers.
Load tendering, bidding and scheduling
Once shipping plans are accepted, shipments are automatically tendered to carriers via EDI, the Carrier WEB Portal, or phone. If not accepted, the shipments are automatically tendered to the next best carrier. Shipment scheduling can be done in advance or after tenders are accepted via EDI Status Messages or the Carrier WEB Portal. Additionally, shipments can be put out to bid to your carriers via the WEB-based private exchange.
Shipping and tracking
Logility helps companies increase control of the complete order fulfillment cycle as orders are shipped and then tracked to their final destinations. Integrating with WMS to confirm shipments and shipment changes, Voyager Transportation Planning and Management can track shipments and monitor the entire shipping process and flow of goods.
Carrier Web Portal
Voyager Transportation Planning and Management includes a Carrier WEB Portal to supplement EDI for those carriers better equipped to use the internet rather than EDI processes. Requiring only a web browser, the exchange provides them with secured visibility and new Internet-based processes to help them support your business. Your carriers can accept or reject loads tendered to them, bid on loads, and convey shipment appointments, enroute status and scheduling information. Customers can learn the status and arrival time of their orders. Vendors can access their routing instructions.
