For item variants with sporadic or lumpy demand, profiling improves upon the statistical or aggregate forecast to give your plans more precision. Time-phased profiles can be tuned to a specific stage in the product life cycle, such as sell-in periods, replenishment stages, and phase-out. Profiles can be adjusted or swapped out in response to actual demand/sales data.
