With this solution, users can automatically tender shipments to carriers via EDI (204/990), phone or the Internet (using EDI-equivalent transactions). Logility supports a web-based private freight exchange for carriers and trading partners who have not implemented EDI.
Private freight exchange
Voyager Transportation Planning and Management includes an Internet-based private exchange that extends transportation information and processes to your carriers and trading partners. Requiring only a web browser, the exchange provides them with secured visibility and new Internet-based processes to help them support your business. Your carriers can accept or reject loads tendered to them, bid on loads, and convey shipment appointments, enroute status and scheduling information. Customers can learn the status and arrival time of their orders. Vendors can access their routing instructions.
