Clement Pappas Selects Logility Voyager Solutions
Fruit beverage manufacturer will leverage Logility to reduce inventory and improve manufacturing planning
ATLANTA (Jan. 16, 2007) Logility, Inc. (NASDAQ: LGTY), a leading supplier of collaborative solutions to optimize the supply chain, announced today that Clement Pappas has selected Logility Voyager Solutions™ to manage their supply chain and increase forecast accuracy, reduce inventory, and gain overall production efficiency through improved manufacturing planning.
Clement Pappas is an industry leader in producing the finest fruit juices, fruit drinks and cranberry sauces and is committed to being the best marketer, manufacturer and distributor of customer-branded products. The company has four plants located in California, Arkansas, New Jersey and North Carolina to better serve its customers from coast-to-coast.
"Logility will enable us to more effectively manage our supply chain and manufacturing planning processes by giving us more visibility that will eliminate the time that would normally be wasted gathering data versus analyzing information," said Craig Ablin, vice president supply chain, Clement Pappas. "We plan to implement Logility to help us reduce finished goods inventory, achieve higher Master Production Schedule accuracy, and reduce monthly forecast error."
Logility Voyager Solutions for Manufacturing Planning will give Clement Pappas powerful constraint-based planning techniques and graphical user interface which will allow them to balance supply and demand through a realistic model of their manufacturing environment and relevant constraints. With Logility, Clement Pappas will be able to model and analyze long-term capacity requirements and improve short-term production scheduling to more cost-effectively supply customer and distribution demand. Logility will also provide the visibility to increase forecast accuracy by creating plans attuned to market demand which will help boost service levels, shorten cycle times, and reduce inventory.
"Logility Voyager Solutions gives our manufacturing customers the power of multi-plant planning with the detail of single-plant scheduling to maximize the overall effectiveness of their supply chain and deliver superior customer service," said Mike Edenfield, president and CEO, Logility. "We look forward to helping Clement Pappas gain the supply chain visibility needed to support their business long-term."
