Mr. Edenfield serves as executive vice president and Chief Operating Officer of American Software and president and Chief Executive Officer of Logility, the largest subsidiary and growth engine within the American Software portfolio of companies. Mr. Edenfield’s dynamic leadership has transformed Logility into the innovator and market leader in providing collaborative supply chain optimization solutions for a wide variety of industries. Mr. Edenfield has more than 30 years of experience in strategic planning, sales development and delivery of technology products and services to streamline, integrate and optimize enterprise-wide operations to help customers increase revenues and reduce costs while providing superior customer service. Mr. Edenfield holds a Bachelor of Industrial Management degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
H. Allan Dow
Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing
Mr. Dow joined Logility in October 2000 as executive vice president of worldwide sales and marketing with responsibility for coordinating the company’s overall strategy development and sales force execution to drive growth and improve success in all targeted markets. From January 1998 to September 2000, Mr. Dow was employed by Structural Dynamics Research Corporation as Regional Vice President and General Manager of the southern United States, Latin America and South American operations. From November 1986 to January 1998, Mr. Dow held various positions with Honeywell (formerly Measurex Systems, Inc.), most recently as Director of North American Operations. Mr. Dow holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maine.
Ed Thompson
Senior Vice President of Global Services
Mr. Thompson is responsible for the implementation services of Logility Voyager Solutions™. In this role, Mr. Thompson will ensure Logility's customers receive the highest level of service and help maintain the company's industry leading rapid deployment. Previous to Logility, Mr. Thompson has held a combination of industry roles in IT and operations, including IT systems management for retail and distribution at Sara Lee Direct (now Hanesbrands, Inc.), and as part of the start-up team for the Hanes Her Way footwear business. His consulting background includes management consulting services with Price Waterhouse and as vice president of consumer goods and retail at i2 Technologies. Mr. Thompson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management Information Systems from Florida International University, and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Mark A. Balte
Vice President of Research and Development
Mr. Balte is responsible for all product development and technology strategies for the Logility Voyager Solutions™ suite. Mr. Balte has over 17 years of experience in development, implementation and support of supply chain software solutions. Mr. Balte holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from The University of the South (Sewanee) and a Master of Science degree in Operations Research from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Karin L. Bursa
Vice President of Marketing
Ms. Bursa oversees the company's market positioning and strategy development as well as the creation and execution of marketing programs for Logility Voyager Solutions™, the company's full suite of collaborative commerce solutions to optimize the supply chain. Ms. Bursa has more than 20 years of experience in the development, support and marketing of software solutions to improve and automate enterprise-wide operations including business-to-business, supply chain management, manufacturing, financial, field service and asset management. She began her career as a consultant for Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) where she focused on the manufacturing and telecommunications industries. Ms. Bursa speaks frequently at industry conferences and has been at the forefront of innovative demand-driven manufacturing, supply chain management and B2B collaboration initiatives such as Flow Manufacturing, the Voluntary Interindustry Commerce Standard (VICS) Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR) guidelines. She is an active member of several manufacturing industry organizations including VICS, APICS and CSCMP.
Sean Willems, Ph.D
Chief Scientist
Mr. Willems serves as Logility’s Chief Scientist having pioneered the development of commercial-grade inventory optimization tools. In 2000, Dr. Willems founded Optiant, a provider of multi-echelon inventory optimization tools, which was later acquired by Logility, Inc. His highly recognized work with companies such as Hewlett Packard and Proctor & Gamble has led to prestigious finalist selections for the 2003 and 2010 Franz Edelman Award for Achievement in Operations Research and the Management Sciences as well as finalist, in 2006, and winner, in 2008, for the Daniel H. Wagner Prize for Excellence in Operations Research Practice. Currently, Dr. Willems is an associate professor of Operations Management at Boston University's School of Management and Chief Scientist, Inventory Optimization Solutions at Logility.
Vincent Klinges Chief Financial Officer, American Software
Chief Financial Officer, Logility
Mr. Klinges joined American Software in February 1998, as vice president of finance. In September 1999, Mr. Klinges was promoted to chief financial officer. In September 1999, Mr. Klinges became the chief financial officer of Logility, Inc. From July 1995 to February 1998, Mr. Klinges was employed by Indus International, Inc. (formerly known as TSW International, Inc.), as Controller. From November 1986 to July 1995, Mr. Klinges held various positions with Dun & Bradstreet, Inc., including Controller of Sales Technologies, a software division of Dun & Bradstreet Inc. Mr. Klinges holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Bonaventure University.
Donald L. Thomas,
Vice President of Customer Service
Mr. Thomas has served as vice president of customer service since January 1997 and is responsible for customer support and technical services for Logility. Mr. Thomas has over 30 years of experience in development, implementation and support of supply chain solutions. Prior to joining Logility, Mr. Thomas held several key positions within American Software including division vice president of manufacturing systems. Mr. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering degree from the Auburn University.
